Australian thoroughbred racing
A pick in every race.
One tip a day, at most.
Bet Check works out a win probability for every runner in every Australian thoroughbred race, then names the one race each day where its pick is most likely to win, but only when that pick has a 65% chance or better.

Live tips only, named before their races and settled at the starting price, win or lose. A $1 win bet on each of the 3 tips came to +$0.35 in total, from $3.00 staked. 3 tips are too few to judge by. Live tips began on 3 October 2026, so this covers fewer than 30 days. Short-priced tips win often but pay little. Past results don't guarantee future results.
How it works
Every race, a pick
Every Australian thoroughbred race gets a pick: the runner with the highest win probability, with that probability beside it.
One tip a day, at most
The day's tip is the race at a TAB meeting where our pick has the highest win probability, if it reaches 65%. If no race does, there's no tip that day, and that is normal. A tip is named on race day and can change or be withdrawn until its final check, about 5 minutes before the race. After that it can only be voided, if the horse is scratched or the meeting is abandoned.
Sent to you
Members get the tip by email and, if they choose, by text: a heads-up about 30 minutes out, the final tip a few minutes before the jump, and the result.
What goes into each probability
- Prices: a morning price for each race that has one, and bookmaker prices checked on the day's tip shortly before the jump
- Each horse's form: recent runs, margins, distance and track record, days since its last run
- Speed figures and how each horse usually settles in a race
- Track condition and late scratchings
- A review by Claude, an AI model, of each race's facts in the morning, and again as the jump approaches if those facts have changed. It can move the model's probabilities by up to 20%, and only for a reason it can point to in the data
The price is the biggest input by a long way. We don't claim the tips beat the market. The record of every tip, win or lose, is how to judge them.
The model is retrained as every result comes in, and every tip is recorded and settled at the starting price. Members see the full record, win or lose.
Straight talk
Bet Check gives tips only. It doesn't place bets and there is no guarantee of results. Short-priced favourites lose too, and past results don't predict future ones. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
